What You Will Be Doing

  • Technical qualification of new orders in house, on site or online using technical feasibility studies on customer samples and recommending the right SmartRay 3D sensor product
  • Supporting customers with advanced technical feasibility studies by developing GUI or console based application software to provide customers with the best "3D solution consultation"
  • Develop software code for customer applications based on third-party vision metrology software tools
  • Build trusting long-term customer relationship and ensure high customer satisfaction time 
  • Conduct product demonstrations for potential customers

What You Bring To The Job

  • First experience as an application engineer in the machine vision and/or metrology industry
  •  Experience with 2D or 3D machine vision, ideally experience with 3D laser triangulation

  • english: C1 – Advanced
  • german: B2 – Upper Intermediate

Nice-to-Haves

  • University degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable qualifications
  • Experience in software programming using either C# or C++, Halcon, VisionPro
  • Experience in application development with machine vision and/or metrology software
