What You Will Be Doing
- Drive continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (Environment, Health & Safety and Lean) and serve as Management Representative to the EHS System Registrar
- Identify and eliminate and/or mitigate risks, with regards to employee safety as well as product; this includes ensuring proper processes and procedures are documented, implemented, and executed
- Create and maintain Company procedures/instructions driving compliance with EHS standards
- Along with Company Leadership, develop and maintain a robust employee safety program
- Deliver successful productivity, cost reduction, revenue and cash generating and/or quality improvement projects by using the CI methodology in a structured sustainable way
- Develop key metrics and report on the performance of the EHS/Lean MS (e.g., results of safety audits, ratings for accidents and near misses, EcoVadis, employee training, continuous improvement projects along with cost savings)
- Develop lean training plans and track progress
- Ensure environmental, health and occupational safety compliance is maintained and current
- Act as a change agent to ensure significant process improvement with positive financial impact
What You Bring To The Job
- Education: Bachelorâs degree preferred or commensurate experience
- Work experience: 5+ years of experience in EHS and preferably in Lean Management as well
- Certifications: OSHA Training, Lean black belt, Six Sigma
- Experience with implementing ISO 14001,45001 and 50001
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, local and state
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Manufacturing environment experience (preferably in injection molding)
- Travel Requirements: up to 10% annually -
- english: C1 â Advanced
Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems is preferred
- A certification and/or work experience in FDA is a big plus
- SAP and QUENTIC experience is a big plus as well
